M.I.A. - Bad Girls. A review.

4:39 am, Friday, February the 17th 2012. Had the unwelcome urge of clicking on M.I.A.’s Bad Girls music video, needless to say I immediately regretted this decision, then again I had come across the link by way of a Young Buck video (don’t judge me). Here is my review…

Mathangi starts off by saying:

Live fast, die young
Bad girls do it well

Mathangi you are 36 years old. Either you lied, and you don’t do it well, or you lied and you aren’t a bad girl. Mathangi I’m disappointed, you don’t have to lie so blatantly, I mean if you’re going to do it then delete your Wikipedia page first. Although, I am impressed that you have an adequate enough grasp of grammar to “do it well” and not “do it good”, here’s a gold star!

Mathangi then goes on to say:

My chain hits my chest
When I’m banging on the dashboard
My chain hits my chest
When I’m banging on the radio

Mathangi likes to have sex in/on weird, uncomfortable places/things.

Mathangi continues:

Hands up, hands tied
Don’t go screaming if I blow you with a bang

Mathangi also enjoys bondage, but she hates pussies who scream when blown with a Tamil bang. She’s like Indian or something so she must have the Kama Sutra memorized, so watch out for her very nimble, very angry rebel vagina.

Mathangi proceeds to make a slew of sexual innuendos in haiku form, Mathangi’s understanding of haikus being “those little Chinese poems that sound funny.”

The entire song seems to be one hook interrupted by ten second verses that nobody has bothered paying attention to. “I stopped listening at 2:34,” this writer confesses. Does Mathangi know how to dress herself properly or is she simply refusing to? Is everyone going for that “hey look! I also dress like Lady Gaga!” look these days?

All in all, this is a so-so song that I can’t stop listening to now. Music gets a 5, lyrics get a 2 and Mathangi’s breasts a disappointing 4.
